Definition:

Web 2.0 is a new level of design of the internet website, which was first talked about by Tim O'Reilly. Web 2.0 is the new internet website which is not just about providing the information, it allows the users to communicate and interact with the website and however, people are allow to view the interaction through the websites. This development brings the users to involve more with the websites.

Tim O'Reilly gives the definition of Web 2.0

Interactive Design

Definition:

Interaction Design is the discipline of defining the behavior of products and systems that a user can interact with. Through the research of interactive design, users are more satisfied with the product or systems that interact with the users. In order to gain satisfying experience, the design needs to understand who is the user and what is the product needed for.

Examples:

Ipod and Iphone is a good example of Interactive Design.

Playing "Game" is also a good example of Interactive Design.

Information/Instructional Design

Definition:

Instructional Design is the process of using our knowledge of "How People Learn" to develop instructional strategies that meet the needs of the learners and the desired learning outcomes. Informational design has the lacks of communication with the user because the product or system is not interacting with the user. However, the lack of communication does not effect the valuable and meaningful of the information.
